These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ColdSun Creations website and the content, downloads, and community features offered through it. By accessing the site or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who We Are
ColdSun Creations is a Skyrim Special Edition modding project offering custom-voiced followers, NPC overhauls, modding tools, and related content.
2. Accounts
Browsing is open to everyone, but commenting, uploading, submitting voice samples, requesting help, and accessing membership content require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity that happens under it. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live.
3. Memberships, Purchases, and Donations
Some content is free; some is unlocked through a paid membership to our Patreon campaign, with access set by your current pledge tier. Store purchases and one-time donations are processed by Stripe. Memberships and donations are billed by the relevant provider under its own terms, and except where required by law, payments and donations are non-refundable.
4. User Content
You keep ownership of the comments, images, audio, and other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant ColdSun Creations a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it to operate and promote the site and its community. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to share anything you upload.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content;
- upload malware or attempt to breach the site’s security;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
- scrape or misuse the site or its APIs;
- use or redistribute membership content in ways these Terms or our providers prohibit.
We may remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms. Banned accounts lose access to the site’s features.
6. Intellectual Property
The ColdSun Creations name, original mods, artwork, voice lines, and site design belong to ColdSun Creations or its contributors. Guest mods and third-party assets remain the property of their respective authors. Skyrim and related trademarks belong to Bethesda Softworks / ZeniMax; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bethesda.
7. Mods and Downloads
Mods and files are provided “as is,” for personal use with a legally owned copy of the game. Modding carries inherent risk: you install and use mods at your own risk, and we are not responsible for issues such as lost saves, instability, or compatibility problems.
8. Disclaimers
The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ColdSun Creations will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site, its content, or its downloads.
10. Termination
You may stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the site and its community.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms; the “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ColdSun Creations operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
